Mahalle Akademi

2019, Başakşehir, Istanbul – One of the software, innovation and technology centers, which has become a necessity with the developing technology, is the Mahalle Academy located in Başakşehir, Istanbul. Situated on the same campus as many technical and vocational high schools, Mahalle Academy creates awareness in this context by giving trainings, workshops and studies to middle and high school students.

Within the scope of the project, the architectural concept of the space, furniture design and manufacturing, applications were made. With the minimal intervention and budget, the suspended ceiling of the existing space has been removed and the mechanical electrical installation has been made cleaner and an industrial identity has been tried to be created for the project. Furniture designs were also made and applied in this industrial concept line.
